My best jam game so far!

492f9.png

I'm at that point in my jamming career where I can't even remember the number of jams I have participated in. I think this was my 3rd LD jam and maybe my 10th jam overall. And I couldn't be happier with the game my team made for this jam. Not only did I team up with people with no jamming experience because I was tutoring them, we still managed to make one hell of a game together. I focused a lot less on programming as I usually do because I was occupied with teaching others. And it was so worth it, because what we made is definitely my best Jam game so far! (Even thinking about making an Android and IOS build of the game)

Building my game for mobile!

I'm actually baffled by the feedback you guys have given me for my game. It has motivated me to actually build a mobile version of my game so I can publish it on mobile app stores as well. Shouldn't take long before it is up!

If you haven't had the chance to try it out, you can play it here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/cup-half-full

Made a mobile version of my game!

So happy with how my game turned out as well as the feedback I have been getting from here, so I decided to make a mobile version of my game. Now I'm just waiting for Google Play to approve the app and then I will have my first published game! :sparkles: :sparkles: https://twitter.com/BangTheWall1/status/1512115852694499332 Feature Image.png

Officially published!!!

Our game CUP HALF FULL is now officially available on GOOGLE PLAY

This is super cool, as it is my first game ever to be officially uploaded to a platform that isn't itch.io  Feel free to test it out and let me know what you think!

First Jam game that I want to keep developing

So this jam is special for me. I really liked the theme and me and my team were able to come up with a pretty cool idea about getting information about your surroundings using a sonar every ten seconds. This made for a creepy but cool underwater experience.

So cool in fact, that I really want to keep developing this idea further. While I feel like the game right now isn't exactly the best it could be because of the time we had to develop it, I think that if I have more time to experiment with it, it can grow into something bigger.

If you do decide to try my game out, please let me know what you think so that I could take all the feedback into consideration when further developing it.

How important is WebGL in your opinion

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've gone from Unity to Godot 4.1 (made the change before the recent news) and am using C#, meaning I can not build for WebGL. I don't care about ratings, but I do want to see people play my game and give me feedback. What do you think? I could go back and make a jam version of the game in Unity for WebGL purposes.

(Don't want to use GDScript because I am too comfortable with my current architecture that uses Interfaces and I work a lot faster with C#)
