Hey, first time trying out making something for LD Compo despite spending years playing random stuff that has come out of Ludum Dare. Will be using the Phaser CE framework to make a game in the HTML5 Canvas. Looking forward to making a game with you all!

My tools: - HTML, Javascript (Canvas) - Phaser CE framework - Piskel for drawing spritesheets. - GIMP for larger images. - Beepbox.co for music.

I have an created basic window based interface in Phaser CE. The game revolves around destroying viruses that are attempting to take over your PC. They spawn at a faster rate as time goes and duplicate themselves. If you run out of hard disk space you lose.
More features to come: - Antivirus software, acts as a turret in a tower defense which you can set to watch a folder and they will automatically combat viruses for you. - More memes.
Wow, I just finished a 15 hr game dev stream. There's still 17 hrs to go so I'll get some sleep and finish off the details tomorrow. The game is pretty much done, with music and gameplay. I just want to fancy it up a little with sfx and a nice boot screen. I should hopefully make the compo.
The game involves you going around deleting viruses to make space on your hard drive, if you run out of space you lose. There's also tons of little text files to read scattered around in the folders that represent my tired and delirious throughts whilst making this lmao.

Finished my entry in time for the compo with 5 hrs to spare! Might spend a bit of time to spruce it up a little more. Spent some time to balance it out to make sure you get a quick snappy experience and added some brfx and Chiptone generated sound effects to give some satisfying feedback. With some pretty hype music with using Beepbox.co.

Stop the viruses from taking over your hard drive! Every now and again you get spammed with pop ups, and the spawn rate of the viruses increase over time. And traversing the folder tree can be quite a challenge when tracking down those pesky viruses.
Viral is up and ready to go! Protect your hard drive and delete all the nasty viruses while havign to deal with annoying pop ups and navigating around folders!

I also have my own entry called Viral and I'm really happy that people seem to like it. It's a weird game, so I wasn't sure what people would think haha.

For the first time we're making the game as a three man team!
We're making the game using the Phaser CE framework, javascript/html/css. It's a shooter where to get stronger you must sacrifice your own humanity.
Some gameplay is shown in the gif below, some Hotline Miami sprites are used as placeholders for now, to be replaced with our own sprites soon.

We have made some good progress so far, levels are going well. Shooting is going well. Shown below is a satisfying gif of the player shooting some basic AI with a shotgun. It feels really good. We can't wait to finish the game.
