I’m in

First time participant, though I’ve been following the compo for a while. I’ll be using the following most likely. Here’s hoping for a fun theme.

Framework: Haxe Flixel, and all its associated libraries

Editor: Sublime 2

Sound: sfxr/bfxr and http://www.abundant-music.com/

Graphics: pyxeledit/auto-tile-gen

Ambiance: Big Giant Circles/Disasterpeace/Austin Wintory (seriously, this guy)

Mostly I’m looking to just finish something, probably as simple as possible, to help get some momentum rolling on other projects on my backburner. Good luck to all. =)

BitPuncher Rides Again, with Company!

I’m in again, for my second go round. But this time I’ll be participating in the Jam with a friend who is new to the compo. Previously I stuck with what I was comfortable (flixel/haxe with sublime 2) but since there’s two of us and he’s less experienced, we might jump in with PlayCanvas or Unity. We’ll see.

Other tools almost guaranteed to use: git, sfxr/bfxr, pyxeledit/autotileset, and Greasemonkey’s Autotracker-Bu which is highly entertaining.

Edit: this post from ludum dare past was highly useful for me in my first time, in case anyone else is looking for things to use/things I reference above.

I'm In

A little late I suppose, I forgot that its customary to declare. I'll be doing the Jam so that I can rope my friends into helping a little. Its really about the experience after all.

I'll be using Unity and sfxr and....probably gimp.
