We have been super-relaxed this jam! I lost at least 3 or 4 hours today on errands and trying to get my new internet provider working, my cousin has mostly been composing music instead of touching the code - yet in spite of this we're having what might arguably be one our most succesful jams ever!
Our primary game loop of exploring, collecting coins and avoiding or fighting monsters is mostly there - it just lacks more sophisticated dungeon layouts and monsters. I just finished the first version of the shopkeeper, which provides the secondary game loop (what am I trying to buy next to make me stronger). This will soon also reveal the final goal for the ternary game loop (the most expensive item that the player needs to try to buy to win the game).
Here's a short GIF showing the player buying a sword, collecting some coins and killing a monster:

And here's a clip of the song my cousin composed:

Now for some sleep, then tomorrow more items, more monsters, some traps, better procedural generation, better (actual) AI and lots and lots of polish!
