Bonsoir (I wrote this at 00:30) !

This post will be short, because it’s late and I am tired, and also because I don’t speak (and write) English very well (Google Translaaaaatioooon).

My friend Joxynox and I made a little plateform game called Platead. That is it. Or not really.

We are unprofessional game makers (we used Paint.NET and Construct 2 to make the game) and, naturally, it was quite difficult to submit Platead on time : Joxynox was in class on Monday, I was confronted with bugs (the checkpoints plant the game because of layout change)… However it was my second participation in the Ludum Dare (the first one was Nanomaly for the 26th edition, I found the idea and made the “graphics” – http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=20715). But it was fun.

We managed time as best as we can (even if we have not done all we wanted, but post-mortem version is planned) and we hope that Platead will make you smile. A little. Please, be gentle with us.

… But this time we are not so late with Joxynox. So I stop working on Plantown (our game) earlier today.

Maybe because it is our third participation, maybe because now we have too many skills… Anyway we are proud of what we made this time.

There are no ennemies yet, and it is a little too difficult to maintain your garden. But currently it is fixed. Yes, it is a game about a garden (with a little “town” thing), but we are at the end of COP 21, so…

This was a good LD, we made a game that we like, Jox has surpassed for the graphics, and for the first time we have MUSIC oh yeah this is so cool.

Because of some balancing with my feet au 1:30 am, the game is pretty hard, but we made a first version of a post mortem. A second version will come soon.

The major problem is that I lost the internet during nearly all the judging time, so maybe we will not have ranking. Thanks to Orange and SFR.
