So glad I joined in for my 6th Ludum Dare in a row, as usually when I don't have an Artist to work with, I debate doing it every time and I always do it anyways.

What Went Well:
1) Scope, for the most part I actually got EVERYTHING I wanted to do, nothing was cut, there was stuff I could have added/changed but everything I initially wanted to do I got done.
2) Playtesting, despite it being unbalanced, doing playtesting help me iron out some design issues and just touch up some general things.
3) Well structured code (or at least I think), this mean it was pretty painless to implement new features and general game changes.
4) Optimization, although I didn't do a heap of optimization myself (nothing is pooled for example), I learnt that I could have done a tonne for this game in areas that I didn't even think about.
5) The game is actually working pretty well, there aren't too many bugs I noticed in the final version and that's pretty good.
What Went Wrong:
1) First and Biggest Issue... BALANCE! Too many last minute changes and not enough playing the game (myself at least) caused the game to be way to hard.
2) Just outright, my "Art" is just shit, and that is annoying.
3) It takes me WAY too long to do the "Art" and for what it is, that is eternally frustrating.
4) Having to do the shitty "Art" myself gets me down and de-motivates me, I procrastinated a lot on the first day.
5) Was very tired on the second day despite having 6+ hour sleep, not sure why this was, maybe I just need more but I'll try to have even more next time.
All in all, was a pretty good game and I enjoyed it. Am looking forward to the next one where hopefully I'll get to work with an Artist.

Hey guys, I know it's last minute but would really appreciate some ratings on my game, before time runs out!

I'm in for my 8th LD, will be working solo however I think I'll still do the Jam (Gives me a bit of extra time and flexibility). Been transitioning from Unity to UE4 recently so I'm using this as a chance to learn the engine some more, probably won't go crazy on the game side but try to polish the sides more (those are the bits I'm more rough on). Good luck everyone
