BEFORE YOU COMMENT please read my response to the previous comments in which I explain my point of view, why I made this post, why I think it matters and stuff a bit better (oh, and why I know the title sucks)

It's just my opinion but I find it very annoying how so many poeple make "full versions" of their games after LD has ended.

I get that you feel like it's missing a more polished UI, or maybe it's too short or something, but if you want to publish that please do it either after LD ratings are over (with a clear LD version and finished version), somewhere else (not on your LD page while people can still rate) or just don't!

That's the point of ludum dare, make the best game you can in 2-3 days, if you start making other versions I don't think that's very fair and shouldn't be added before rating time is over (if it should be added at all) as it is NOT A LD GAME

I've only participated in 2 ludum dares so far, but I'm super excited for my 3rd one!

Last Ludum Dare I was incredibly proud of what I was able to accomplish in three days, the main thing I did wrong is that the game was way too complex and hard.

so I took some notes on what to improve and hopefully this one will be even better!

Basic as sh*t but I make the best of it :D

(I'll be using UE4, blender (duh) and audacity)

I think an app for the LD site would be awesome, you could get notifications a week in advance of when an event would start, and just in general you wouldn't have to open your browser to check manually if you had notifications

(Comments on your game, theme reveal, replies to your comments. These could all benefit from notifications)

A Loop to Save The World

is a game I made on my own in 3 days from modeling to programming - defeat enemies, blow stuff up and solve puzzles to complete the game and break the loop!

If you couldn't tell lockdown has been getting to me lately...

Every time I open the site I see all these tabs that seem interesting but they're completely empty or have something like "TODO: finish this" (Tabs like: Me, Stats, Settings, Explore, Tools, Communities)

I know managing Ludum Dare is a lot of work but I think the site would just look a lot better without all these completely unfinished tabs, it would probably also be less confusing!
