FEED THE KING

Our tween kings are waiting for dinner. How will they share out the food? Are they good enaugh to rule the kingdom? It depends on how you feed them! Food is Power.

Here you go!
This is a preview of our succulent game that we are baking off :) Wait for it 😉

Feed the King (finalized)

After two days and half we finished our game “Feed the king”.

We are three members: a music composer, a draftsman and a game designer, we didn’t know much about programming, but we did our best with our limitations.

This is our second time we participate. We are friends and this time we worked separated because of we live far from each other, but we manage very well.

We hope you like the game as much as we enjoyed doing it!

LD35

I’m 7 hours late! And I am so busy!

So I woke up 6 hours after the theme was announced. I was disappointed (as always) and I have a lot of school work to do so I guess I will be entering the Jam and make a game in the very small time I can get.

I already have an idea and I will be using:

  1. HTML5, JavaScript and CSS for the game engine programming.
  2. GIMP for Artwork.
  3. BFXR and Audacity for Sound Effects.
  4. Brackets for script editing.

I never done music soundtracks before and I hope someone gives me the name of some free music makers I can use to quickly produce some good retro styled music.

I will also drink lots of coffee to keep me awake as long as I can.

Good luck with your games, everyone!

Finished Playing Audio and Looping Audio System

I can now load audio and play it nicely, I can also loop it.

My “HTML5 game engine” now loads resources, intialize, updates, draws animated sprites and plays audio. It’s complete (I should have made it before LD coz I wasted 4 and half hours making it but it’s worth it). Now I’ll take a break and then start making the actual game!

End of day 1

So I didn’t do much progress in the game itself because I didn’t have a lot of time to work because I have homework to do so I used this time to make the engine. I wasted a lot of time but I have a great idea and I have drawn some concept art but I’m not going to be showing any of it until I finish Ludum Dare. I hope I make more progress tomorrow.

Happy Ludum Daring!
