I made a little pixel zombie! Yay!
At least it's something.

At least it's something.

Making progress! Oh yes.

Just a bit more to go! I also need to get music and sounds done.

It's so close to the end now and I'm dashing to get things done. I managed to make a cute little tutorial bit:
Now I need to make a title and an end screen.
This will be my second Ludum Dare, I'm gonna try to get more accomplished this time. Hoping the theme is good! I'll be using Gamemaker Studio (I prefer it rather than GM2), and Bosca Ceoil for the music.
Trying to make a Tetris-like game about managing an overcrowded prison, got most of the main gameplay and logic done. Moving on to menus now.

Just a bit of polish and bug-fixing left!

Well, as done as I'm gonna get.
My game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/$99112

Got a snow man enemy into the game. I guess I'm running with a winter theme, for some reason?

So there's this mechanic in my game where the player can dispose of one of their legs in order to double-jump. (They're a snowman, I thought it made sense...) And I couldn't get this to work for the longest time. It just kept a crashing and when it did work, the leg wouldn't detach. Anyway, I've finally sorted this out! Phew!
