We’ll be jamming

First time participating in Ludum Dare, will be doing it as a family (dad and two kids, ages 15 and 11). I’ll be doing most of the programming, kids will do art, music, some programming.

Language: Javascript, HTML, CSS

Graphics: Pixelmator, Blender

Looking forward to it, kids will just be out of school and they’re both very excited.

That’s awesome! Looking forward to see the result! Have fun you three! :)

Jammed

For my game jam, worked on some algorithms for rounded terrain and built  a simple demo using websockets to coordinate between multiple players. No actual gameplay, just moving squares around from multiple browsers, but the code is here if it would help anyone: https://github.com/dethe/Websocket-Demo.

Enemies galore

I’ve got basic movement and collision detection, and now have enemies. They move at random now and I haven’t implemented combat yet, but it is starting to feel more like a game now.

PICO-8_3

This is my first time playing with PICO-8, but I like it.

Ludum Dare 54

I'm in

Like many of you I will be using Godot to learn it. Not coming from Unity, mostly JavaScript, Pico-8, Scratch, Python, Twine.

Will probably be using Krita and/or Shimmy for graphics (https://dethe.github.io/shimmy/).

Haven't done one of these for a few years, will be good to get the dust off my coding fingers.
