I’m [hoping to be] in!

This will be my first Ludum Dare, and I’m quite nervous, so I convinsed my friend to go Jam with me!  Hoping to make a playable game 😀

Language: Java
IDE: Eclipse
Graphics: Nothing better than paint…
Sound: sfxr
Libraries: what?

I hope the theme will be something like castles or survival… 😀

Me too. I really like Castles

I’m *hopefully* in

This will be my first ludum dare, and I hope I will be able to make something playable!

  • Language, framework: C#, XNA
  • Graphics: Paint (it will be good to get something better than colored squares)
  • Audio: sfxr, bfxr
  • Music: found this awesome thing, might be using it to generate music (I really suck at creating music). Also I made simpler version in C# (requires XNA), so I can generate and play music in runtime. You can find code here.

I’m in!

This will be my second Ludum Dare, looking forward to participate! Finished in top 100 last time, hoping to improve!

  • Language: Javascript
  • Engine: as a XNA fan I found this quite suitable for me
  • Editor: notepad++ ? Anyone can suggest a good javascript editor for windows?
  • Graphics: insane MS paint skills
  • Audio: sfxr/bfxr, maybe someone can suggest a simple tool to create music?

Here’s my little try at making something in javascript.

If all this javascript stuff goes really wrong I will just go back to XNA.

Good luck everyone!

I can recommand you to use Brackets or Sublime Text, they’re both pretty cool editors.

For music, try PXTone.

SublimeText is good, or as a JS guy you might like Github’s Atom editor.

I’m working on a sequel!

A sequel for my game, Test subject #4218!

New features include:

1. Mirrors!

2. Ground sensors (also more mirrors)!

3. Level editor (yeah, that box is made of mirrors)!

4. Support for coop mode (guess what, it includes mirrors)!

Pretty much everything is already working, now I have to make levels. I hope to release it this weekend.

Obligatory “I’m in”

Going to participate for the third time!

I will use either C# with Monogame (in case I want performance to be a bit more reliable), or HTML5 + Javascript. I hope do a quick web port if I decide to use C#.

Also, Google Code Jam round A starts almost at the same time, so excitement for ludum dare will totaly ruin my results 😀

Have fun everyone!

Some ideas

So, I was browsing to get some ideas about what to do, and here are some interesting things:

1. Weapons of mass destruction could be called unconventional weapons

2. Goldfinger (1964 movie). That hat is amazing 😀
