My first Ludum Dare

I will do everything in Haxe on FlashDevelop and it will be compiled in Flash and if I can, I will try to compile it in C++ :D. I might use Nape to do the physic but I’m still deciding. I will use sfxr for the music like almost everybody in this competition. I think I will use Chronolapse to do a video of my 48 hours.

(Sorry if I did some mistakes, I speak french and I’m still learning english, don’t be affraid to correct me)

Haxe!

This is my second try, I hope to at least have something to show unlike the first try.

I will be using Haxe with FlashDevelop or Sublime Text. I will try to use NME and export the game to Flash/JS/Windows/Android.

I’m in!

I tried Ludum Dare multiple times in the past, I failed every time to release anything but this time it will be different! At least I hope…

My weapon of choice this time will be new for me, my goal is to do use Javascript. I never made a game with it, so I still have no idea which libraries I will use, maybe I won’t even use one.

If you’re looking for graphics libraries and stuff, I can recommend Three and Phaser (though I’ve never done anything with JS so I haven’t used them, lots of people like them)

I'm in!

This is my 4th time (I believe) trying to join LD, never was able to finish, mostly because I lose so much time setuping my stuff, but this time I'm quite early and I'm already experimenting on that front to be ready for the event.

My weapon of choice will be JS, mostly because I hate having to download an executable to try a game, but also because I love to have theses kinds of constraints.

I haven't chosen any librairies yet, I hope that I will be able to find one I enjoy before the event (any suggestion?). I would love some vector graphics, that was something I quite enjoyed in Flash, but from my previous search, that doesn't seems to be something really accessible currently in JS.

I hope to be able to include multiplayers functionnalities in the game in some form (either local or online), but that's just another constraint I'm adding to myself.
