So this time I got to finally participate for my second time in Ludum Dare, and again, the theme was quite bad.
So the first day I woke up and checked the theme. "Sacrifices must be made". NOOOOO! This was one of the few themes I really didn't want to win.
I went to eat breakfast and come up with ideas. Then I found out I don't really have time to work on my game on the first day for reasons. I only managed to make the character movement on the first day.
The second day I made all the graphics and programming and basically everything. In one day. Yeah, the quality "had to be sacrificed".
I did manage to finish the game though, if you can call a running man eating apples a game.
So the game is you are a man who is running on the street, looking for food. And like the real human body, if it doesn鈥檛 get energy from external sources (e.g. food), it starts consuming itself. If you run out of energy, you have to choose a limb to be sacrificed for food. Your goal is to survive as long as possible 鈥媤ith as many limbs left as possible.
