Wait how does this work again
Can anyone see anything I post? hello?

This is gonna be the longest Jam I ever took part in, pretty nervous. I'm gonna use: - Game: Godot Engine - Graphics: Paint.NET - Music: LMMS (just in case I have, like, a whole day to spare)
There were definitely a lot of duplicates. Since everyone is giving ideas, I think theme suggestions should only be open to people who have participated in at least 2 theme slaughters in the past, and only 1 suggestion per user.
I don't have access to a computer in school so it would be useful if I could see how much time is left until de jam starts in the mobile website.
It's a thing I tried to make before but didn't have the knowledge to. Not exactly very original but I think it'll be fun.

Eventually you'd have a big universe by the end.
Baby steps.

I made the bare basics of a game, I'm happy. Not gonna try to burn myself out. I made a pretty useful way to add more elements easily, so luckily I can work a lot faster.
Good jam to everyone!
My PC is doing everything it can to make this hell for me. Crashed twice yesterday, now the code refuses to work and the engine crashed as well.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW-ik5PILJ0 It still looks like ass, but at this point I'm more concerned with adding content than adding game juice. Next thing to add is life.
I did not expect my game to become an idle game but that's apparently where I'm going with it.
Just about ran out of ideas. I think the game's good how it is. It begins like an idle game but then you have to do a lot of merging if you want to get more points. I'll upload tomorrow.
I have to submit the game today because I won't be available to work tomorrow. I hope this is enough. Not my favorite game I've made but it's interesting.
(Zoom in)

I accidentally missed the slaughter. :( Oh well.
Last year I made a really ambitious game that didn't turn out how I wanted. I think this year I'm going to make something way smaller and shorter. Playing the games, I learned that usually the ones I liked the most gave me a complete experience while also not being a huge time sink, all the while I wanted to make a game people would keep playing for hours at a time, and failed at that. I want to make a better product this jam, something you can play for a few minutes and enjoy so you can go back and rate more games.
I'll use: * Godot Engine for developing; * Krita for graphics; * LMMS for music if I have thousands of hours left; * Freesound and FreePD if I don't.
I feel like doing a really simple game. It will be a highscore game with something in the middle you need to protect, and to protect it you just move your player to the projectiles. The difference is there's going to be 2 or 3 different players you'll have to move around in different ways, and if one touches another's projectiles, you lose.

All done, just need to balance it and make it pretty and give it some kind of a point. So basically it's not done at all, is what I'm saying.

Yay
