Ludum Dare 35 – I’m In!

This is my first ludum dare! I’ll be participating in the jam. I made a game for the latest Mini Ludum Dare 66, but I’m excited for this one as it is the real deal!

Sprite Editing and Animation

The game I made for LD 35 is called Relec Hunter! Something that I would like to improve on is sprite editing and animation. Does anyone have any suggestions for software I should use? For my game, I used Pyxel Edit and Piskel. I heard Aseprite is good to use, so I’ll be checking that out. If anyone has any other suggestions or links to tutorials please link them. Thanks!

Here is a link to my game if you want to check it out. Thanks!

i use inkscape for its vector graphics, and i use spriter for all my animation goodness.

Check out Relec Hunter!

This is the game I made for Ludum Dare 35. It’s a metroid-inspired platformer, where new shapes unlock new areas. You can check it out here. Please comment and vote. Thanks!2

I’m in!

I participated in the last ludum dare! I will be using Unity and (depending on the theme) other tools such as Aseprite, Tiled, and Tiled2Unity! I’ve been working on a cool platformer so I have been improving my 2D games! Have fun everyone :)
