Here's my themes, I tried to keep them vague but mechanically stipulating. The 3rd one is mostly a troll pick but who knows there could be some clever stuff made if it somehow got through. Let me know your thoughts

Is it this bad every dare? Seriously might need to limit the suggestions to 1 per person so that everyone puts in 1 idea rather than 1 idea and 2 memes.. which add up to be well over 2000 time wasters. Also stops people putting in stupid ideas that clearly have no real thought behind them (which there were a lot of by the way)

Just 1 lesson in storytelling for you. If you are watching / playing as someone who is not the main character, then they ARE the main character, regardless of if they are a villain or not.

Likewise if your hero is not the player character, he is NOT the main character.

Imagine a book where we follow Voldemort for the whole thing instead of Harry. Guess who the main character is for this book..

YandereDotDefence is my game for ludum 42. It's a one man operation with all assets made by me in the 3 day jam, come see how it turned out!

Unfortunately I'm working pretty much the entire duration of the jam but to be honest I'm not all that upset about it. Last jam had pretty much no good theme suggestions and this one had loads of them. HAD is the key word there because somehow they all got voted out while "Don't trust the game" managed to get a top 10 spot right up there with "bum wiping sim" for great theme ideas

Now that I've had a good while of practice thanks to the Ludum Dare I've progressed enough that I'm happy to work on my own IP. I haven't named the first game yet but I will be putting a kickstarter out in a few months.
