It’s crazy how many great games were made during this Ludum Dare! I’ve had a blast playing through a bunch of them during the week and I’m planning to go through a bunch more. I also started to record my playtests of the games I play, so if you are interested in seeing me playtest your game, let me know. It’s nothing fancy, I just record the gameplay without me talking or anything, but I at least enjoy seeing people playing my game so there are probably some others who do it as well. .
This was the second time I participated in Ludum Dare, and once again I really enjoyed it. Last time I felt that I over scoped by deciding to make a RTS game, which in hindsight is kind of crazy. I feel that I still managed to make a decent game that I’m proud of but the graphics, balance, and general polish was lacking.
That’s why I for this one decided to make a fairly simple game and instead put most of my effort into making it look and feel good. I feel like I was fairly successful in that regard, and I personally feel like this entry is a step above my last one. My biggest weakness is still the sound, and especially music is something I need to learn how to make for the next one, as it adds so much to the atmosphere and general feel of the game.

Thank you to those who have already played and rated my game! I’ve gotten some really valuable feedback, thank you!!!
Everyone else, feel free to check it out my entry and let me know what you think of it: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/powerwatch
