I want to try Ludum Dare to see if I am able to create something in 48 hours. Won’t say I’ll make it but I think it’s worth the try. I’ve already made some games but there are not really completed.

I’ll use Eclipse for coding, with the libGDX library. I use Gimp for graphics and I have absolutely no idea on how to make music. Maybe I’ll just screw around with a microphone and Audacity…

So, after a successful warmup weekend I will happily take part in the LD30 with the following tools :

• Haxe language with HaxeFlixel framework
• Emacs as an IDE (with emacs-ide, haxe-mode and lots of other plugins)
• GIMP for graphics
• Maybe LMMS and abundant-music for music
• my crappy microphone for sound effects
• ArchLinux
• Firefox (and chromium, for compatibility check)
• Clementine, because who could develop without listening to music ?

I’ll try and make a bigger game than last time, or better graphics at least !

Hi ! I’m in for the third time for this Ludum Dare ! My previous submissions weren’t great games but I always have a lot of fun doing this and receiving nice feedback and stuff

I will be using :

• Emacs as an IDE (with emacs-ide and haxe-mode)
• GIMP for graphics
• Maybe LMMS and abundant-music for music, if I have time and motivation
• I may use Audacity to record myself, but that depends on the game
• ArchLinux

It started from an idea I got on the bus and I thought this was the best opportunity to try something unusual and that may be very bad.

Here is some kind of diagram I had to make, you can probably understand why I needed this.

Graphics will be bad, so I don’t want to show them now ^^ I went for the “4 colors” thing, just to have an excuse to make bad graphics ! I think that’s the only thing from the MiniLD post that I followed (except the “do what you want” part, obviously !)
