Ludum Dare, I am in you!

I’ll try to do something, too.

My weapons:
Code: I’ll use GameMaker: Studio
Graphics: As I’m no graphician and depending on the theme I’ll use opengameart.org, or draw something myself with Paint.net
Audio: Music will be “done” with autotracker, FX is created with bfxr

Glad to hear that you’re in! Just remember that if you’re participating in the competition that, officially, you need to make the content yourself during the weekend (so you can’t just pull something off of opengameart). On the other hand, if you are just doing the jam, the rules are more lenient.

May the games begin!

I like the theme, makes the art problem go away.

Ideasearch complete

I’m doing something, I wanted to try long time ago: a ‘Rick Dangerous’-Demake. :) Animation is complete (standing, walking, jumping), now for some action.

Switched to Construct 2, as it seems easier to start the real game.

Minimal Jump – Status Update

You can play the latest version here. It has a title screen and some sound effects, but is still missing a real challenge and an end game, though. Well, there’s plenty of time tomorrow. :) So far I had a lot of fun.

Minimal Jump

Well, no “Rick Dangerous”-Demake for now. Instead I’m doing an Endless(?) Jumper game. Basic game is working and you can try it here.

And it looks like this so far (and might not change much):

Nice start.

Minimal Jump – Completed!

“Minimal Jump” is finally done. I hope you have as much fun playing it as I had doing it.

Entry is here.

I’m in.

This is my third Ludum Dare. I’ll probably choose the jam over the compo, but this depends on the theme (I’m not really an artist).

Setup is:

  • GameMaker Studio or Construct 2
  • Photoshop CC
  • sfxr

Got an idea

Well, not a bad theme at all. Already have two ideas:

1. A game, where you are the immune system of a human and have to protect him from certain diseases

2. A hacking game.

I’m going for the second
