Hi all !
We’ve been pretty silent until now but we made a game for the Jam called Happy Vegan Birthday, which you can play here:
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-24/?action=preview&uid=11779
So that’s kind of an old school point’n’click done in Unity, with a little story that I let you discover. You can also play it on Android.
Let us now if there something wrong, feel free to comment !
Cheers, here’s a little screen shot !

Hi there !
I forgot to post that there was a bug-free version online of our little Point’n’Click !
In case you played it and couldn’t finish it because of an inventory bug, here’s a new version…
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-24/?action=preview&uid=11779
There’s also a new inventory button, which comes in handy for android devices.
Enjoy !
But not much going on for now !
Hi all! Here's the game we made for the jam:
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/a-small-war
Not much of a story this time, you send units on four lanes to defeat the enemy tower and they queue in a very orderly fashion! Some strategy is involved, although for now it's super easy... Maybe we'll do a post jam version with a bit more challenge!
While I'm at it, happy 15th birthday to Ludum Dare! As for our (somewhat organic and changing) team, it is our 5 years Ludum Dare anniversary, if I recall correctly. It kind of felt like going back to our roots, as the first one we participated in had 'Tiny World' for a theme! This edition has been the first time we didn't use a professional software for creating the graphics, as we gave a shot at Magica Voxel.
Hope you enjoy!
Ahoy!
I've just started working on my first SOLO jam entry!

This is not a game about mint TIC-TACs.
Things have been going ok so far, but I can't think straight any more!
In the game, you have to hold keys to grab the roof, and thus going forward... or fall into the LAVA and end up cooked! Of course it gets harder the more tentacle you have. Still pretty basic but quite fun already.
Here are a few WIP screenshots in reverse order:

Good night folks!
The gameplay seems alright, now onto polish phase!
Here's how it plays so far:

And here's a link to a version...

though hopefully it's gonna look better in 4 hours! Panic!
It was fun for a first time solo!
This is TENTAGRABA:

Good night all, and good luck with the remaining day for the jam teams!

Ain't that tempting ?
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/tentagraba
There's no limit to how many tentacles you can have. I recorded a gameplay video (200% speed), by the end it would seem I have around 14 of them, but it gets hard to distinguish! My keyboard is quite crappy, and as you have to hold letter keys to grab, keyboard ghosting can be a problem... but see for yourself, you can still get pretty far:

Good news everyone!
There's now a HTML5 version of TENTAGRABA!
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/tentagraba

The lighting is a bit uglier than the Windows version, and I had to optimize the shadows a bit, but it plays smoothly otherwise. Enjoy!

Give it a try, it makes use of all your fingers!

As a bonus, I thought I'd share the game's one and only concept "art"...

Super Beat Fighter Turbo is, as its name subtly suggests, a rythm fighting games!
You have to input your moves on the beat!
Also, you'll need a friend and a controller to play it properly, as it's versus only in this version. Our coders are hard at work (when they find the time) trying to get some kind of AI working, we'll keep you posted!
Play the game here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/super-beat-fighter-turbo
I had a lot of fun making the game's character, with its very fresh look, so I couldn't resist doing some posing and lighting to make a cool little piece to show her up:

That's it for now, but I'd love to go back and tweak the animations, shaders and co!
Here's the traditional late "we're in" post!
That time we decided to be super original (ahem) and try our hands at pixel art, Gameboy style... I've never really done that, and honestly, that's harder than I thought!
The coders and designers have been hard at work all day, and they'll probably share some gifs later. Until then here's some progress on the art side!

Finally, got some time to upload a HTML5 version of our game!
Enjoy.
Now I kind of want to make a version with a gameboy overlay and buttons, so it could work on phones and tablets!

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/gotta-bake-em-all
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/gotta-bake-em-all
As we went for a Gameboy feel, I really had to go all the way and make a little overlay for the Android version... I think I spent way too much time on that whole thing, but... here it is!
I added a fake LCD look too, you can toggle it with the press of a button:

Well that was a tiring weekend, especially for the poor souls on our team for whom it's now past 4am. But we had a lot of fun, and we're super proud of the result! Let's rate some gaaaaaames!
Ahoy y'all!
Our lovely coder took some time to dig out and fix the main annoying bug from our game:
We added a Hotfix version on itch, it prevents the character you escort from getting stuck, enjoy!
Next step may be building a Web version, and integrating the comics in the game (there's even an ending!). Should that happen, we'll keep you posted...
Ahoy! In case you tried our little narrative experience already, you may have found it a bit hard to understand... well, we got the memo, and made some much needed Quality of Life improvements in a Post-Jam version, available on the itch.io page!
While I'm at it, here's a mini making-of. Here's the first 'photograph' in the game: the sketch I did, @colonel_mangue's lovely colour pass, and the multi plane set-up in Unity!

Check out the game to see how it looks in the end :D !
It will probably stay pretty rough, as there's only two of us this time, but we'll try to make that stupid Rock n Roll point and click sort of work!
One More Song! One More Song! One More Song!
