As the title suggests, this will be my second jam - riding solo again. Last time produced a distinctly sub-par game! This one will be better.. yes it will 😳

Spent all night having weird dreams about LDJAM and didn't even know the theme. The brain is willing but really quite stupid sometimes.

My idea is to give the player a bunch of ice cubes which slide around the level but melt in hot lava - BUT! When they melt, they also freeze a bit of the lava and make a little platform which the next ice cube can use to get a bit futher along the level.

Quite mesmerising, they are.

Need some rest after a good and productive full first day. Got other things to do tomorrow so will pick this up in the evening - should finish in good time on Monday (ha!)

These ones move, which is nice.

Starting to feel like a real game now with various mechanics being tied together.

Game is now fully tied together so I can spend tomorrow adding content and more hazards!

...quite literally if you can complete a level. I thoroughly enjoyed LD43 and actually produced a half-decent game I'm pleased with.
