I am not much of a modeller, so I am really proud of the work I did today.

I am not sure the idea is that strong though. In the game you stand still and shoot down trees. When a tree is shot it explodes seeds to make a few more trees. The goal is to cover a special section of the grass (which I will make pink or a similar bright color) with a certain amount of trees, with as few bullets as possible.

What do you all think of the idea?

Its 3am in Sydney now and the game still needs 4 more levels and a bit of polishing. Might not get any sleep tonight.

I'm trying to find someone to do the next Jam with me. I live in Sydney and would prefer to work someone in a similar timezone.

I was lenient with the slaughter round accepting about 40% of the themes I saw, but I am pretty disappointed with the ones that are left. Most are okay but none of them inspire me to make a fun game (except for one but that still isn't a high success rate).

I know the community was super harsh in the slaughter round but how do you feel know?

Pretty much the title. I would prefer seeing 30 themes at once.

If you want more rounds I think having a round of 100 themes then a 30 theme round then the final 10 would be a better system.

Hey everyone.

As a big time Ludum Dare fan I'm always looking forward to the next one and I don't want to wait 3 months. Are there any other game jams that have a similar 2 day all online format. The only other one I know of that I think is worth doing is Alakajam.

Day one has just ended in Aus and my game is starting to come together. Progress collage below :)

My solo project wasn't going anywhere, but I don't want to give up on the jam. Any teams that are running a bit behind or want to increase their game's scope let me know and I would love to help out.
