Hello. This will be the first time I’ve participated in a Ludum Dare, as long as I can come up with something to fit the theme. I’m going to do the Jam. I will use:

Unity 3D for the Engine/Game Maker

Blender/Sketchup for 3D models and textures

I’ll use music from the website Incomputech.

SFXR for Retro Sound effects if I need them.

I just have one question. I know that these “I’m In” posts are supposed to show that you are a real person, but couldn’t someone just write a program that would tell the computer to generate a random “I’m In” post that made sense and post it? Or is there something that prevents that?

I wasn't planning to participate (I have school on Monday, and I definitely need the extra day.), but I saw the theme and all the Lava Lamp stuff, and I made part of a thing! Basically you own a Lava Lamp Factory. As you sell more and more, your Special-Magical-Imported-From-Venus-Or-Something Lava Lamps are worth less and less because they are less rare (or they will be once I get around to it), and it becomes harder and harder to make a profit. I don't know if I'll actually make something finished enough to submit (I still don't have any good ideas for win conditions.), but I'm bored so I may as well try.

If I submit anything, it will have been made using Unity, Blender, and the magic of http://incompetech.com/ and/or https://www.bensound.com/.

Also, why are Lava Lamps a thing?
