I am proud of the result. It is not super polished but I see improvement since my first Ludum Dare.

Good luck everyone for this final hour!

Grow Little Planet! Explore, Collect, Make your home a better place

Hi everyone,

Here is my submission for this LD38 compo. ld38_1.png

Grow Little Planet!

The goal of the game is to bring back materials to your home planet in order to make it evolve. You will have to shoot some asteroids to get some stuff out of it. ld38.gif

I was a little stuck with the theme so I ended with the first Idea that came in everybody's mind : "let's make a game with a small planet!".

Here is the link to the game : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/grow-little-planet

Please don't hesitate to leave a comment as any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

I already seen and rated some great games. It is always a pleasure to see what people came up with!

LD 39

I will participate to this Ludum dare 39 (it will be my third attempt).

Here is the tool I will use (maybe only some of them) : - Unity 3D - Photoshop - LMMS, Bosca Ceoil, BFXR, Audacity - Itch.io for uploading

Good luck you all!

My Compo - The last cup of Coffee

Hey everyone,

That LD was intense but I managed to approximately "finish" what I wanted. so here is it : 2017-07-31_00-53-43.png

The Last Cup of Coffee

I don't know for you but wihout my cup of coffee, i would run out of power, don't you (Maybe it is a little far fetched)?

The last cup of coffee - game page

I lost a lot of time (nearly whole Day 1) modelling/animating as it was my first time doing a 3D game so it was a big challenge (I usually stick to 2D).

PS : I was not sure what post compo edit I was allowed to do so I did a bugfix to increase performance and reduce mouse sensitivity in the [post compo] link on my itch.io page.

Thank you all for playing and good luck for all the jammers and for the rating. Please, don't hesitate to leave me a comment to allow me to see who played and to make sure I play your game too.

The last cup of coffee (little) post mortem

Hey all,

This is my third Ludum dare and so far, I see some progress which is nice! This game was a challenge for me as it was my first attempt to 3d modelling and animation and from the first return I have, it is not too bad  (I followed some tutorial on youtube to be fair to understand blender).

If you haven't played it I would very much enjoy you to tell me what you think about my game "The last cup of coffee" :

The last cup of coffee

I made some mistakes, here is what I have so far (as far as I remember) : - The Camera clips through the wall because of the TPS view (This is really problematic for an indoor game :/) - The Aiming sensitivity what over the roof. I have adjusted it in the post compo version but I will definitely add a slider in a config menu later... - The aiming is not precise when you shoot behind you. (I have made the mistake to simply shoot forward in the camera direction without taking in account the weapon position) - I have made a mistake puting so much rigid body everywhere in the compo version (every single chair and computer would react when fired at with physics), this was making the game a little laggy but I have removed the rigidbodies on the post compo version (the optimal would be to disable far and not useful rigidbodies, I will maybe do that if I take some time on polishing it).

There is also some ideas/suggestions to add to the game that were made : - I should limit the number of stapple shot by the stappler to increase the challenge ( with a reloading system ). - I definitely would like to have offered a proper ending else that "congratulation" (don't be disappointed if you complete it) - Some more feedbacks on objectives and Health when they change to be sure people see it. - etc

I would also like to thank all the people who played my game already! If you already have but did not leave a comment, please do it in order to allow me to play your game too!

And here is a gif I made during the development when I was playing with the AI and the ragdolls: ezgif.com-optimize.gif

Enjoy your rating/commenting guys!
