Ludum Dare 39 is not only my first Ludum Dare event, but my first game jam ever. I am really excited to be participating in this event and I will be streaming on Twitch throughout the weekend https://www.twitch.tv/iamjohnnyturbo

I will be participating in the compo and I can't wait for the challenge. As a programmer, I am confident that I will deliver a compelling game with solid mechanics; however we'll see how the art looks and sounds....

First off thank you to Mike and co. for putting on this event, I had a blast and I will definitely be participating in the next one! Also thank you to all those who took the time to play/rate my game! Development took a turn for the worst at the end but it's all in the name of the game! Also really proud of being able to complete a game in 48 hours.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the results I got. I felt that "Theme" and "Humor" were my strongest categories and I almost broke the top 100 in both those categories!

For LD 42, I decided to take a literal approach on the theme, and the game I came up with is called "Edge Runner." I am super happy with the result and I have created a video postmortem (as I do with all my LD games) where I talk about everything there is to know about my game.

Yes, there are plenty of things I would like to have done better or differently but that is okay, because this is only the beginning for Edge Runner.

I put a lot of effort into this video to make it both informative and entertaining. I hope you enjoy it!

For Ludum Dare 43, I made a Tetris clone where you will occasionally be forced to sacrifice a piece, hence the name Tetrifice. Here is a video of me playing my game and talking a bit about my thought process of making this game. Full postmortem to come soon! Enjoy!
