LD 41

My last entry was for LD26

Hi guys!

After years of procrastination, I decided to kick my own butt and participate to this LD!

Hope to have a fantastic experience and to play some awesome games!

See you guys for the jam, Cheers!

I don't know how you guys do it

After reading a couple hundred theme suggestions my brain gave up and I found myself unable to judge which themes are good and which one are bad.

Congratulation to everyone who manage to go through every themes!

Exausted

I hope you guys are on schedule. I personally spent the all day trying to make a proper jump...

while (ambition < talent) { gameQuality --; }

Let's start again

Congratulations to everyone who finished! And good luck to everyone who's still in it for the jam!

I spent 2 days trying to make a point and click plateformer ... but it wasn't funny at all. Except for the joke "oh look, those two genres don't fit together". Which work for like 2 minutes.

Now I have started again and am trying to do a skateboarding sniper game. 16 hours left tho ...

I did it!

I'm so happy to have finished my game! (Last time I did it was exactly 5 years ago for the LD26!)

Got stuck with boring ideas but I finally manage to find something fun when there was just 16 hours left... So it clearly lacks polish but I'm happy with what I have done. Now I can relax and play at lots of bizarre games that you guys made :)

Anyway, you can play my game if you want to test your skills at skating and sniping :) I would love to hear your thoughts!

Cheers!

Statistics about engines used

It would be interesting to have stats about which engine are used. I have definitively saw a lot of Unity games but I'm curious about how much are made in Godot, GameMaker, Pico8, UE etc ...

Just a thought.

Skate'n'Snipe

Hey guys! Have you played my game? I feel like I didn't do enough promotion for it so here it is : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/skatensnipe ScreenShot2.jpg Have fun!

It has been an amazing ride!

Just wanted to say how awesome this LD was for me. The last one I manage to complete was LD26 (5 years ago!) and I'm so happy I've been able to participate and complete this competition. Also, I loved the theme!

The creation part was a bit of a rollercoaster for me because of my poor C# knowledges but the testing part was just pure pleasure! I'm amazed by the creativity and the talent of the participants. I saw some of the most original games I've played in years!

Last words, I want to say thank you to @pov for his dedication and thank you to the community for its kindness and useful advices!

Hope to see some of your games make it to a full release, and of course to see you guys this august for LD42.

Cheers!

Emergency laptop

Slow progress is still progress!

Progress.gif I'm really happy about my results after a day. It is very very far from being a game, but I consider this grid movement as a success in regard of my skills. See you guys tomorrow!

Here is my game

Hi guys!

I made a strategy / puzzle games where giant animals crush evil humans.

Try it!

I am happy that I managed to do something playable. Turns out my knowledges about matrix calculation were a bit rusty so I had a hard time trying to code a proper grid movement. So I had to improvise :)

I hope you guys had a fantastic Ludum Dare! And now, let's play lots of games !

Cheers!

Karma for feedback given : 0

Hi guys!

This LD happened just before my moving to a new apartment, so I'm trying to catch up with the ratings.

I always enjoy to leave a comment, even a few words, to the fellow LDJammers but it seems that my comments are not counted on my page (Karma for feedback given still equals zero). Is there something that I miss?

Cheers!

How to see all the games I've rated

Hi guys!

I just wanted to know if there is a way to see all the games you've rated this LD? There were some of them that I really liked and I want to keep an eye on them and their creator.

Cheers!
