My game has been finished, and the above is its title. Sadly, my entry post got rid of the spaces so the title looks really ugly…oh well. Learned a lot and had fun. Check out my game: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-22/?action=preview&uid=7245
I thought I would share some thoughts on how my first Ludum Dare compo game came out. It is an object avoidance game with a simple but unique take on the idea of being alone. It also features a song where I sing. If you feel like playing it, the link is here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-22/?action=preview&uid=7245
Da Big Problems I Faced
Heyo, everyone, I will be participating in this Ludum Dare Compo. Sadly, I have a bit less time than usual this weekend, so the end result won’t be too huge, but perhaps it can still be stimulating and interesting! Good luck everyone!
Haven’t done too much game coding since my last Ludum Dare, but I am ready to jump back in the thick of it! Now who’s with me!?
Oh, wow, lots of people apparently! Best of luck to you all!
Planned Tools:
Hello Hoverbot!
Yah, says the robot, thanks for bringing me into being!
Noo, says the robot, why couldn’t you make me better!?
Aghhhghahaha! yells the robot!
Haha! Excuse me being a tad delirious, here is some meaty stuff:
Making games is fun!
Packaging games for others to play, trying to make a timelapse of collected photos, and feeling really tired are things that are not fun!
Anyways, I am so happy, as I just got those unfun things finished (minus timelapse, which just was not working, so I kind of…erm…gave up), and here are my thoughts:
Successes:
I’m in for the latest LD!
Quite excited I am!
Will be using the following tools:
Hopefully got everything down!
Good luck everyone!
Will be using Constuct 2, Unity, Gamemaker, or perhaps a library and more traditional IDE.
Should be fun!
Good luck to everyone!
I am quite excited about how my first foray into development with Unity came out.

So far, my abstract little game has been well recieved. It features randomly generated creatures and music that I think gel really well with the theme. The only thing I wasn’t able to get done in time was the scrolling background particles that make it easier to see that you can move. Was really easy to do, just put it off until last minute, but I added it in a post compo version. Check it out and rate if you like!
