Match3+Startegy = "Bully squares"

If you feel that there are not enough match3 games that praise you for every match found, have look at my "Bully squares" game. It has everything you need: a red square, a green square, a wise mentor that will help you with advice and will cheer you up in a tough moment, and, guess what, it has a blue square too.

So, come on join. And lead, an army of squares, with swords and shields. And we also have a castle there.

Bully Squares. More about controls and bug fixes

Hello!

As recent feedback told me, I totally misunderstand the importance of more detailed description of controls.

So I've added a little highlight with controls description right in the center of the game, to remind players about controls. Hope this will help

And I get a lot of feedback on my game, so thanks to those of you who rated it. Others, please ignore the last sentence, and go rate my game please. I would appreciate it a lot. Basically, I think I need much more feedback, to make something worth playing out this little game.

My game is here https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/bully-squares

And why there are so little comments regarding mentor in the game? That is strange, since he is very supportive and motivating. Check him out.

P.S. And I've fixed that bug when one square can jump over the other square. Now it can't... well, most of the time!

Hey! We created a physically-based submarine simulation game with secret Atlantis technologies and dangerous guards of Atlantis dreams (you need to kill them, btw)

Help needed: "ALCHEMY unSTABLE" - good idea to make serious game?

Hello!

We've made ALCHEMY unSTABLE game for the last LD. We had fun making, people had fun playing and a feedback is mostly positive. So we start thinking about making something serious out of it. BUT! We have a problem with progression and more long-lasting gameplay development.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQgXwHnktYU

If one came up with general idea of how to solve puzzles in this game, the gameplay becomes tedious and boring.

So here I am summoning a LD community collective mind to ask a couple of questions:

  1. How to create long term gameplay development? Any ideas for meta gameplay?
  2. Any ideas with the core gameplay? Controls change?
  3. Is it a good idea to create a serious game out of this concept?
