Hey Whats up LDers?

I’m incredibly excited to participate in LD27, I’ve been trying to do them for a while but I always miss the compo by a week or two so this will be my first one!

my planned tools are:

Code: Construct 2

Graphic:  Photoshop and SAI

Sound : sfxr, http://www.inudge.net/ and a midi creator

Here is what I have after about 3 hours, my concept is to deal as much damage as you can within 10 seconds. will continue playing with my prototype until I get something a bit funner but that’s my general idea so far.

Luckily I was playing with a space theme warm up, so i kind of stuck with the space theme.

Well, I did what I could, spent most of the day fixing bugs that magically appeared so I couldn’t put some of the finishing touches that I would have liked, but I’m pleased overall how it turned out. Let me know what you think of my first ludum dare entry.

I’ve played about 40 games so far, so I felt like I should share the ones I found were really good or had an incredibly clever use of the theme.

As an aside they are all web games or playable through the internet

This will be my second LD Compo I will be part of, pretty excited, my last game turned out alright, it was fun, but lacked in the art department and there were quite a few things that could have been done better. Anyway here are the tools I plan to use:

Game Engine:
Depends on theme and game idea but between
Unity
Game Maker Studio ( <  Probably this one because it’s super fast to get something working )

Art Tools:
Photoshop
Google

Music and Sound FX Tools:
BFXR / SFXR
Stock Music
Google
