Playing more games!
I just need one more rating on my game to get to 20.

Leave some feedback on my game or drop a comment here and I'll play your game when I have some time to spare. I'll prioritize games in the danger zone.

I experimented with using SPADE for generating landscape art for a storytelling game.
This is what it looks like after upscaling it with waifu2x:

It could work, but I've spent a day building and installing requirements so this is all I've got. I have no game script or anything yet for the storytelling part. I'll just relax the rest of the day and hopefully I will have enough determination tomorrow to write some story.

Join Dave the dev on an adventure to find inspiration for a game about life and currency. You will experience both happy and depressing moments, but please remember this is just a game and mostly not based on a true story.
Thanks to @instafluff @elysiagriffin @mrjoshuamclean @syrapt0r for streaming their reaction to the mysterious adventure of Dave the dev.
What is it that's so shocking? Find out yourself.

I see that my effort was appreciated in creating a relatable story based game.

What I don't understand is how this is by far the best ratings I have received in Ludum Dare even though I only spent 5 hours on this game. I suppose I was forced to only focus on one aspect of the game this time.
So it has been a while since I was serious about Ludum Dare, last time I didn't care and ended up placing by far the best in ranking compared to previous events I have participated in. Main take away for me is to do ONE thing well and focus on that strength. This time around is different, I will care even less.
I'm thinking about trying something completely new this time around and attempt to use a VR based 3D modelling software like one of these:

I'm excited to try out these tools for the first time and hopefully I can find a tool to play drums and keyboard in VR too, if anyone is reading this please let me know if you know of such a tool :kissing_cat:
How cool would it be to create a complete game graphics/code/music & assets in VR ONLY. Even having the ability to collaborate on a game in the style of VRChat. I saw this video and got that idea (tool is called Simula): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWLuwG91HnI
Stay safe everybody :game_die:
Talk about self-fulfilling prophecy... I'm just like Dave the dev :disappointed:

Atleast I got my game submitted lol:

Hi guys,
just finished playing a bunch of games today and will continue to so tomorrow, feel free to leave a comment and I'll get to yours tomorrow
just 4 ratings to go https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/campfire-3
So, everyone that has been doing Ludum Dare for some time knows how crucial it is too keep the scope of your project quite small. However the more content you are able to squeeze in, the higher chance you have of rating higher.
What's the most ambitious LD game you have created/seen were the dev actually pulled it off?
