I reworked a good portion of how I display and communicate information to the player. The Player now receives a good amount of feedback from the actions he takes.
I plan on spending time on paper to better polish the mechanics of my game. When it comes to resource management, I want to ensure two things are occurring in my game:
1 – players have only meaningful choices to choose from.
2 – elements of risk vs reward feel as though they are.
At the moment I feel as those are the two biggest issues in my game. I’ll be spending the next hour or two away from the code to think this threw.
As of now I feel good though. I’m further along then I expected and haven’t come into any major road blocks. The mind is willing to continue through the night, but the body is tired
I’m getting vertigo just looking at code. Is that normal?
