Good morning folks,
in Germany day 2 begins. I just forgot to cover the idea of our game. It is something like Crazy Taxi in a small town. In addition the town is in fact the planet :) You can cruise through the town for some time, waiting for a new passenger. Pick him up, listen to his wish and take him there. The faster you are, the more happy he is, the more money you'll get. If the passenger is extremely unhappy with your service, the game ends. These are the core features. Although it's a small world and you should be able to remember the "special" places, it is not easy to navigate on a planet
Optional features are: - Customize your car - Upgrade your car with the money you've earned - Day night cycle - Conversations with the passengers, answer questions in order to get the passenger more or less happy  - Traffic
Yesterday we build a very simple planet, driving physics and a smooth camera (almost top down, but you can see a lot of the planet in order to compensate motion sickness). Gameplay mechanics are already implemented.
So far, so good. Today we (my wife and me) got a lot of art to do - and to improve the driving physics (wheelcolliders seems to be broken in Unity 5 since some time...). We will post screenshots during the evening.
Hey folks,
this screenshot gives you a first glance of the art of our game Planet Taxi.

Hope you enjoy it
Hey folks,
Day 2 ends here in germany. Going to sleep tight, working hard at my daily job and return in the early evening to get on the last few things to do...

It is now 1.11 am in Germany (01:11 Uhr). It was a very tough last day for my wife and me, but we managed to submit our first ludum dare entry everrr :confetti_ball:
Please check out our game at the Planet Taxi Jam Site or at itch.io!
We are very happy and we want to give a big shoutout to the ludum dare stuff. You guys did an amazing job with this new website! Looking forward to your feedback and - of course - to LD39!
Tomorrow we will post our lesson learned
Hey folks,
after playing and rating about 30 games i realized that our game just need a few more ratings to reach the magical number 20

Please check out and rate our game at the Planet Taxi Jam Site
Thanks!
Hi folks,
just found a little entry in danger to not make it to 20 votes, but it deserves it! Try out this addictive, well crafted 3D puzzle game and try to get those 100 Stardusts

Hope you like it as much as i do
My wife and me are in again. It is our 2nd LD. Just woke up, ideas got to be flowing in the next hours :)
Good luck and have fun everyone!
Finally we got an idea that get us very excited to implement. Tools will be Unity, Blender and Audacity.
We are going for the 72h competition, so (we hope) there is plenty of time to get this idea to your screens
We have been working for about 8.5h hours on the project. Most assets are done. But those glasses with liquids inside are really hard to make in blender, if you do not know for sure what you are doing
Gettin' some sleep and get up early in the morning. Coffee will help
Looking forward to read more of your blog posts!
Hello world,
we got finally something playable: Inhouse Baristas.
Nearly every Software Developer in the world looooves coffee. It fills their energy, so they do not run out of power  Your Task is to deliver them their coffee! Further information will be provided tomorrow.
At least there is a screenshot for you
Good night!

Hey Ludum folks, we hope you enjoy our entry. This is our second submit to a ludum dare!
Inhouse Baristas lets you dive into the daily work of a barista in an office full of software developers! Fill their power up with some coffee in lots of variations! But hurry up, because their power is running out!
Deliver as much coffee as you can in 3 minutes and get tips from your happy customers.
You can play in three modes: - Single Player - Two Player Co-Op - Two Player VS :tada:
You can download the game on itch.io!
Controls are explained in main menu. To brew coffee you need: milled coffee (from beans). You can fill up the coffee mill three times for light, normal and strong coffee. Activate the mill by smashing the button! Get the milled coffee into the coffeemachine. Put some water in it and let it brew by activating it. When coffee is done, fill a cup and place it to a waiting customer. Some customers want even milk in their coffee, or only milk.
We think the gameplay has some potential. So we will polish it in the near future. More levels, more details and perhaps even upgradable coffee bars
We can't wait to get your feedback. Especially feedback from the Player VS Player mode! :tada:
Good night!
Please check again :) Misconfigured access settings for itch.io page.

Thank you!
Hey there,
at the moment i am setting up the itch.io page properly. Therefore i've made an animated gif to show you some ingame footage and to explain the gameplay concept.
Remember: You can grab a friend :bustsinsilhouette: to play :joystick: in VS or Co-Op mode!
Hope you enjoy the content!

My wife and i are in! Both of us got a new laptop  and are looking forward to the 40th LDJam!
So i just took tomorrow off, so i can at least finish something  I've started at Sunday 9.00 pm (Western EU timezone) and am looking forward to tomorrow. Game idea seems to be nice, hopefully i can show you some pictures in the upcoming lunch break in 10 hours
@Compo guys: Crunch time - be strong :muscle:

Hey Ludum folks, i hope you will enjoy this entry for the 40th Ludum Dare. :confetti_ball: This time was a bit different, because i had only Sunday Night and the whole Monday (took the day off) to get a playable game done. This theme was very difficult for me, because i did not came up with an idea anytime soon. Finally i got something i do enjoy: Reindeer Runners :deer:.
In Reindeer Runners you control a lot of reindeers with cute reindeer names  who are following the alpha reindeer. But watch out for traps or other obstacles they've got to avoid! The first character of their name indicates the key you got to press in the right moment.
Every now and then another reindeer joins the reindeer herd. The more reindeers the more fun  The more stages you master, the harder it gets.
You can return to the main menu by pressing the escape key at any time during the run.
How far can you go? :grinning:
I do look forward to play your games as well!
