it looks like people are gettin' suicidal this year.

Those who have added themes such as "death is only solution"/"life is meaningless"/"you are alone" should rather take part psychological therapy than in the Ludum Dare.

My finger (and soul) hurts from slaughtering all of those themes.

Work is on, although we probably won't be able to finish the project. Debugging and learning of Unity took too much time.

Surprisingly, there are a lot of things that don't work as we thought they should. insert angry emoji

It was a tough fight till the end of competition.

Due to many problems with Unity and GitHub we had to cut some features and other leave unpolished, but game is playable and might be enjoyable.

Many people think that there is a hatred towards themes and general hate during the phase of themes slaughtering.

I don't hate themes, but they are often ill-considered in the context of amount of time we have during the Jam.

Another issue is the recklessness with correct naming - is it so hard to write the first word with a capital letter, check if theme is spelled correctly etc.? Even if English is not your native language - Google Translate is your friend.

I think that it's not a matter of hate towards themes, it's just that your brain gets a little tired when you see this many low quality themes.

And the slaughter results shown in the users' posts confirm this somewhat.

2020, You don't spare us

On the last LD I made such weak suggestions that I myself unconsciously x'ed 'em during the slaughterfest.

I think that this time I did not come up such bad ones as they give a lot of space to show off with creativity. It would be nice to see at least one of them in the top 30.
