I’m In!

I’m in again and looking forward to it!
Here’s the tools I’m using:

Good luck everyone!

I’m out

I’ve decided to not finish this LD as I’m not very happy with my game and I can’t think of any other ideas.

I haven’t got much done because I’ve spent alot of time thinking about what I want to do and I’m not enjoying working on my current idea so I’m going to skip this LD and hopefully I’ll have better luck next time.

I think it’s great just to finish a game even if you have to work really hard to get it done in time but if you’re not enjoying working on it theres no point really.

Good luck to everyone else and I’ll see you next time!
I’ll probably still play some of your games.

LD33

Hey I’m in

I’m really tired but I’m in.

I’m using C with my own library I wrote for LD, Vim for text editing, Visual Studio for debugging, Paint.net/PyxelEdit for art and SFXR for sound effects.

My library only supports Windows at the moment so I think I will just submit my game for Windows and port it to MacOS and Linux afterwards.

Have fun everyone, that’s the most important thing 😀

I'm in

I'm in! I haven't done one of these in a while actually.

I'm programming in C with Visual Studio using my own libraries which can be found here: https://github.com/m4tthartley/Libs

It's late here in the UK so I'm going to sleep now, but I'm pretty happy with my idea and looking forward to exploring it tomorrow.

Good luck everyone!

Ludum Dare 54

We're In

I haven't done Ludum Dare in a few years and I'm looking forward to giving it a go again. My friend is doing it with this time which will be great!

We'll be using: Code: C using my own libraries(very unfinished and rushed out lol) Art: Possibly some AI generated art with stable diffusion, or Paint.net as a fallback Sound: Probably BFXR Music: Probably none unless we have extra time

Have fun everyone!

Inspired by asteroids, progress through the levels to try and escape the asteroid field. But watch out for those asteroids, some of them have interesting qualities.

We're pretty happy with how the game went, I think it's really fun to play. It's written in pure C using my own libraries and zero dependencies which I'm really proud of. I rushed out the "finished" version of my libraries for this so it's a bit rough still lol, but it worked pretty well. The only big issue is the audio system fails to initialise on some PCs, so we apologise if you get no sound.

Thanks in advance for playing our game! I'm enjoying playing all the other games :)
