I’m joining you all on this fun and exciting journey. This will be my first Ludum Dare so I just spent the whole weekend learning Unity. I wish you all lots of fun.

Seventeen hours of intensive game making and I loved every minute of it. 😀

I decided to base my game on a few of my old Amiga favorites, namely Gravity Force and Turboraketti. I’ve got a lot of ideas but we’ll see how many of them make it into the final build.

I’ve got a lot done today, which feels really great. Of course, I’ve got a lot left for tomorrow, but I’m satisfied with where I am right now and it will be fun tomorrow as I tried to do a lot of the, in my humble opinion, less fun tasks today.

Now I need to sleep, but I’ll give you an early screenshot first.

I’m really happy with what I accomplished in my first Ludum Dare ever. And the game (Graviteer) got submitted with four minutes to go. 😀

I didn’t have enough time to tweak the Assualt mode, so it’s probably very hard and rough around the edges. But still, I aimed high (three different game modes, based on the theme, with three levels each) and I got very far, so I’m very pleased, to say the least.
