Harder than it looks
Well, here goes, this is my first LD! Making a game this quickly is pretty tough, turns out. Having to cut a lot of corners to make sure I have something playable ready in 2 hours.

This will be my second LD. I'm excited! I really like the idea I have this time around -- it's about hamsters and robots.
Best of luck to everybody!
I forgot that saying what tools you're using was a thing, so:
Dynamic loading and placement of floor tiles is in! It might not look like much, but as a grid-based dungeon crawler, this will serve as the basis for the game world.

The tile generation system and player movement are complete, along with a little bit of tweening to make it juicy! The movement is grid-based; the player can move in the cardinal directions, turn in place, and strafe.

Now there are some real textures in the game! Each cell in the world grid can have its own floor, ceiling, and wall textures, independent of other cells. I've also added a little bit more juice in the camera movement, to give it a sense of physicality!
