A game jam jam game
This was my first Ludum Dare so I had the idea to make a jam making game for my first game jam. I wasn't really sure what the actual game mechanic or win/lose conditions were going to be, just that the player would be making jam.
Day one was mostly just making art and writing the systems that would allow for picking up fruit and putting it into a 'pulper' to produce jam.
By day two I still didn't have any more of an idea of what the game was going to actually be (Overcooked but for making jam?) so I just kept making art and refining the 'crafting' system. I was also away at CampJS IX so there were plenty of other distractions to get in the way of working on the game.
It wasn't until day three (when I got home) that I had a bit of an idea of what I could do to turn the game-mechanic prototype into something that resembled a finished game. Unfortunately, by then there wasn't overly much time to actually do most of it so I just ended up doing whatever there was time for.
The result is a simple jam-making puzzle game. You have a list of jams to make, some are easier than others.
