Well, it might be a bit late, but at least I’m prepared for next time

The background was created in Blender, using a plane and some lights.

Here’s a couple sweet wallpapers I whipped up in Blender. Both are 1080p .png files. This is also the obligatory I’m in! post, hopefully I will be joined by a friend of mine to do some modelling, but who knows…

Not sure about sounds
Anyways, thanks guys and have a great jam / compo!
I am going to be entering in the Jam, hopefully with a modeller friend of mine. Looking forward to the coming hours.

Hopefully I will be joined by my friend 00ooo, but we both have exams this week leading up to LD33
See you all at the deadline
Because time zones are just so amazing I have just finished my lunch and crossed the first 24 hour mark. Awesome. Originally, I planned to do a 2d Haunted House simulator, matching your technique to the patrons worst fear. It wasn’t working, so I’ve moved on, and in the last few hours I’ve got top down movement, a semi placeholder modular environment kit and some basic lighting effects. The plan is now to implement the AI and procedural levels. Shouldn’t be too hard 😉
I am really happy how Dungeon Crawler -REVERSE turned out. Currently it only has one level, but there is a full procedural level generator (based on Sebastian Lague’s Cave generator) so more levels will come post ld. Art is certainly lacking, but I tell myself it has a unique charm to it
After the submission of my game, Dungeon Crawler -REVERSE, I do need to dish out the credit where the credit is due:.
The invaluable information contained within Sebastian Lague‘s tutorials is well above the par of every other Unity tutorial I have seen, so I highly recommend you check him out! A lot of the material covered in his tutorials made it into my game, mainly the top-down shooter tutorial, and the cave generator tutorial! (Secretly it’s hiding in the back, ready to generate more levels for the post-LD version)
Thanks Sebastian!
That’s right, be a part of my upcoming October Challenge Game, Call Centre Simulator 2-016.
