including source code

Super excited about the theme.  I’ll be brainstorming tonight.

If I’m working with a program that can’t export human-readable source code, does that mean I can’t enter the competition?

You could enter the ‘Jam’ were you have 3 days to do it, and dont have the enter the source code but I’m sure you will be fine. Just save the files you are using the program it and zip them up to upload as the source files.

What’re you writing it in? You should be able to upload whatever files you work on, and that’d be fine.

Fantasy Arms Dealer

“It is dangerous to go alone,” he said.  “Take this.”

He handed me the sword, and his words infused me with courage.

But then I heard him say the same thing to the troll who was next in line.

“It is dangerous to go alone,” he said.  “Take this.”

The little red heart is pretty, but I don’t remember how it works.

Hey! That guy has a sword.

I loved that part of Dragon Warrior 3 or 4 where you played the merchant. Your job was just to harvest items to sell in your shop – it was awesome!

Never played it.

moral dilemma?

“It is dangerous to go alone,” he said.  “Take this.”

Now, do I use this magic to destroy my enemy, or to punish my minions for not destroying him for me?

World domination, or sexual gratification?

working version

I’ve got a working version of my project.

I’ll probably spend tomorrow writing some music for it.

If you want to try it out, you can download it here.

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

Took me a while to get the hang of which shape was what character, since it doesn’t say anywhere other than the title screen. Was quite fun though! It felt like I was on the verge of setting up an indefinite loop when I realized I was slowly killing the monster. Good stuff.

That’s a good point. I’ll try to give each character a defining visual aspect.
