Need help with Art
I am working on a game and I need some help with character design. I can make other textures but not people. If you can help me and send me your stuff I will credit you in my game. Wait my game is funny?
This is my first Ludum Dare (age 14 for your infomation) and I had never made graphics before (as your could tell if you played my game). I made my game not knowing what I was doing. After I submitted it i kept looking at the comments and more people said it was funny. I didn’t think is was meant to be funny (now like an idiot I realise it). So when I got #266 in humour for my first ludum dare game that I thought was not funny I felt happy and confused. But #266! Did you guys vote wrong! Anyway thanks guys and see you next time!

I guess the Humor category is just a very specific one. Your score at Humor is 2.95, which is not so much. Compare it to your Theme score which is 3.05, and yet you’re 746th in Theme. I believe that happens because people doesn’t take humor seriously. Rating a good game low in Humor is not a bad thing (while rating it low in audio or graphics would somewhat offend the game and its creator). Actually, if you take a look at score dispersion graphs that people are posting sometimes after voting ends, Humor category is the least correlated with the others.

I would say the music is quite solid as it is right now.
Since the music is so light, I’m assuming this is just a mild bgm for the game.
What I would recommend at this point, is to make sure all instruments follow the beat.
It seems like you made piano play a bit off from guitar.
If this is just regular music that is just fine too, but for game music, I would say keep a solid rhythm.

Didn’t go as planned :(
My game did not like me towards the end of the comp. But I still submitted what I could do. Oh and for the people who can assess my source code there is a secrete somewhere in the file.
