No more features, please.

Oh god, oh god, oh god.

My first ever Ludum Dare – 14 hours and 20minutes in and still so much on the list – animations, sound, a handful of level-elements and a couple enemies left to do.

At least the sprites for shapeshifting, all the player controls and the dungeon generator are done – I should’ve gone for a much smaller scope, but now that I’m already working on it, I have to finish this. It probably won’t be pretty, it probably won’t be any good, but it will be finished in time. 馃槈

Aaaaaand done.

After 2 Compos I finally decided to do a jam - and the kind and talented damagefilter was insane enough to join me. 68 hours and 95 commits later we are finally done with our little creation Small Worlds - Universe Balancing Bureau and we couldn't be happier!

Firekeeper - Day 1

Just a little WIP shot directly from the editor. firekeeperwip.png The basic mechanics are done and hopefully no more additional 3D modelling or sound-stuff will pop up. Tomorrow I'll just have to polish stuff up, add some nice texts and icons and then ship it. I hope it all will result in a noteworthy 2-minute experience for you guys ;)

Level Generator

Our levels will be assembled from hand-built modules. ezgif-2-73e27d20a46e.gif What you see here are only 4 dummy modules - the final ones will look a lot busier and will have some nasty surprises for the player. ;)

Procedural Generation

Screenshot_168.jpg I was dumb enough to do procgen dungeons for this jam. It puzzles together dungeons from a set of hand-built modules, places and color lights, places random props on the floor and walls, spawns enemies and places the entrance to the next level in the most incovenient place it can find.
