LD19

Me too

Probably going to use Löve, so lua will be the language — should be easy to make Windows and OS X distributions. Most of the work will be done in a terminal running screen and vim :-) Other than that, I might use Gimp, Inkscape, Blender, Apple Logic, Native Instruments’ Komplete,… whatever makes sense at the time. Oh, and this is my first LD.

Ohhh I’ve never heard of Love before. I might take a look into that for future projects!

Morning coffee

And I believe I have a design!

Pizza dinner

With the one and only chili sauce. And lots of it. Its label says “NATURAL COLOR”. Probably won’t be posting screenshots yet, but there’s a time lapse video coming.

spaghetti mechanics

Reading up on orbital mechanics while eating spaghetti ala olio con bacon. Not convinced my game (a Ports of Call / Kerbal Space Program crossover) will be done before deadline, so I’m trying to dumb down the mechanics a bit.

LD32

I am in I guess!

I’m scrambling to put together a stub written in C – a codebase I can compile to Linux, Win32 and OS X. It’s currently capable of building Linux and Win32 binaries from Linux, and I mostly know how to expand it to OS X (I’d build it natively, I wouldn’t know how to do it from Linux). You can check the progress here: https://github.com/sqaxomonophonen/cross-stub

I might chicken out and use LÖVE like I did in LD19. Or Unity. Or something else. I really like developing in C, but 48h gamedev in C might just be suicide :-)
