Gameplay and art done, design to come!

Hey guys! Decided to update you on my entry.

Screenshot_1

It’s a game where you control gravity and you must get to the end of the level.

Using unity.

The light in the cube is made from a point light and bloom, and the gravity control itself is easily controllable with Physics.Gravity.

What do you think?

Simple. Clever. Add a few portals and puzzling levels.

When the player hits the portal, teleport the cube to the other connected portal. Might help add some challenge and complexity.

Gameplay Video

When things are going well in your first ludum dare, you can only be happy!

So i decided to “show off” my project!

“Gravity”

thomas was alone meets the bridge.

I’m waiting to see how it goes.

First Day Over

First day of my first jam over.
It was a very fun day: met new people, learned a lot, learned even more, and slept only 5 hours.
Ludum Dare so far is being one of the best experiences ive ever had, from sharing my own progress to being jelly of other people’s awesome games. Ludum Dare is a place to learn and have fun.
Hope you all do, at least.

“Gravity” – Post Mortem

Ludum Dare. An amazing experience. Hundreds of developers getting “together” to make a game in 48 hours. A truly amazing experience. I got to experience this for the first time in Ludum Dare 36.

The theme was Ancient Technology, which, for me, was pretty bad, as the game i had planned to do didn’t really fit the theme. But i made it work.

I had created “Gravity” – A puzzle platformer in which you need to control gravity to escape multiple chambers.

I got some decent reviews from everybody here, but i decided to take it a step further.

Since Ludum Dare ended, i started porting Gravity to mobile and making new levels. And guess what? The concept worked perfectly.

I just published it on Google Play and i would love to hear some reviews from you guys!
