Giving it a go!
Will be participating in the Jam, using Unity. Probably will use Doodle Studio 95 for graphics.

What could it be???

The basic premise is Stealth + Match 3. Hide among the blocks as you match them up, level gets harder as you have increasingly less cover.
Have a basic implementation of the Match 3 going, will be working on the Stealth mechanics tomorrow.

These guards are making sure nobody comes in and matches up these boxes.
Didn't get the chance to add as much polish as I'd like and I'm sure there are plenty of gamebreaking bugs, but the game is done and that feels great.

Things that I would add if I had another day: - Sounds/music - Guards that walk instead of just rotate on the spot - More visual juice
But overall I'm happy with what I made, especially coming off not having finished a jam for a couple years.
Submission is here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/ld41-infiltrat3

Game concept is that you are growing little plants in your apartment with very limited space. It's definitely not about weed.

Adding some random personality to the little plants you'll be growing in your apartment.
Game has a name - "Bon☆Guys". Will be using this old-style navigation for moving around your apartment.

Disregard core gameplay, write cross-dissolve shaders.

Random people to meet and trade Bon☆Guys with.

Set up a basic dialogue message system for having characters talk to the player.

Added the inventory screen. Won't likely be finished in time for the Compo deadline so I'll be submitting this for the Jam.
Made the furniture and seeds be pulled from the player inventory.

Added ability to sell Bon-Guys.

Bon☆Guys is a bonsai raising sim in a small apartment. Raise your Bon☆Guys and sell them to buy more Bon☆Guys!
This game is playable online at https://zeno.itch.io/bonguys and you can view and vote on my submission at https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/bonguys
Will post a post-mortem/follow-up later!
Will be doing LD43 Jam, using Unity, probably Aseprite for art. Looking forward to seeing what everyone makes!
Going to do a sort of trick-taking card game about Maids called Sacrifices Must Be Maid

The basic mechanic of "Sacrifices Must Be Maids" is that you can sacrifice two cards of the same type and level from your hand to take a card of the same type and one higher level from the board. Higher card levels will be worth more points at the end of the game.

Jam Entry Here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/$124801

Sacrifices Must Be Maids is a card game inspired by the game Famiglia, in which you sacrifice your maids to acquire more and higher-value maids.
I'm gonna do the Jam again.
I posted my starter project (with real basic UI flow and leaderboard support) here: https://github.com/zenanon/LDTemplate
