This is the first time that I'm taking part in a Ludum Dare and I'm very excited! I'm extremely curious as to what the theme is going to be. I've already come up with lots of great ideas and I wonder what other people are going to come up with. Be sure to have fun everyone and good luck! ;)
After hours of not having any inspiration I finally have somewhat of an idea for my game!!! I'm glad to finally be able to write down some code. I'll create another post once I've got something to show you guys. Good luck everyone!
Finally got to uploading my game! It doesn't contain nearly as much gameplay as planned but I'm happy with what I've managed to make.
Now the only thing I don't quite understand is the uploading of images. It seems to be disabled at the moment, is this a bug or do I have to upload images later?
It was a bit tense, but I managed to finish the game right in time! Now excuse me while I get some hard earned sleep.

After being distracted by te sun all weekend, I'm still gonna try to make a small game for this Ludum Dare. Wish me luck!
An idea has been born! Carmagotchi, a mix between Tamagotchi and a racing game.
We should be able to pull this off within the next 6 hours or so right?

We probably spend waaay too much time recording the background music and other in game sounds, but it was totally worth it. Expect to hear more wacky sounds in the game when we release it, but for now we're going to wrap things up and call it a night. Please leave some feedback about the game so far, we're extremely curious about your opinions.

After some hardcore development sessions, which started only yesterday evening, we have managed to complete our game! We had so much fun coming up with all these wacky game elements, we're definitely coming back for the next Ludum Dare!

Hey everyone, this has been my second Ludum Dare and I had a lot of fun! I submitted our game Carmagotchi just in time, but forgot to balance some of the in-game prices. I could simply upload a new version with different values and be done, but I was wondering if this is allowed. Please let me know!

@koalaura and I just woke up and are ready to get jamming!
After working overtime in the last few hours of the jam, I finally managed to hardcode my way to the finishline, only to discover that a lot of stuff was unexplainably broken on build and, with no time to spare, we had to upload our broken build! Luckily I found some time today to look into the problems and fix most of them! The game still has some minor bugs and needs a lot of changes before we can be fully satisfied, but it is finally playable!!! I'm super proud of what we managed to create in such a small period of time and want to thank @koalaura so much for the amazing art assets!

After getting a lot of feedback from this amazing community about the animations in our game being too slow, we decided to fix the problem. We have done this by adding a "Fast-Forward" button to the topleft of the screen. Clicking it will make the game fastforward until the next animation. And if you want to fast forward alot, you can lock the button by pressing the lock button next to it!
We have also added the names of the gods and have given them a short description as to what they stand for, so people actually know what they are doing.
Make sure to give our little game a go if you haven't played it yet, especially now that you can speed up the process if needed!
