It is my first time participating. Finally! Also my first time trying to finish game in less than a week!  Any ways so the tools

Programming: Flashdevelop and Flashpunk

Graphics: Paint.net

Sound: Sfxr or Bfxr

Music: not sure what to use but maybe Audacity.

Drinks: Orange juice

Hope I can get this done and don’t sleep off!

Well there has been some progress in terms of artwork. Working on the pixel art now. I initially wanted to use Paint.net but I changed my mind and now using Allegro sprite editor. Pretty good piece of software. Still quite a lot has to be done. Here is a small screenshot of the game’s splash screen.

A bit crappy, I know, but hey it’s my first time doing LD and this is actually also my first time trying to do the artwork on my own

Unfortunately, I cannot finish my game and hence I won’t be submitting. There are still 4 hours left but I need to sleep so that I don’t sleep at my day job tomorrow morning. But I will continue working on it. I don’t want to just leave it there as I have put considerable amount of work in it. I’m going to be like Valve (before HL3) and take my own time to finish this game off. I learnt quite a lot during this time, especially on the artwork side. Made some really stupid mistakes when it came to making the sprites. I know, I know, but it’s just my first time, so I can get away with this one time 😛
