Decided to try and make a 2D Rouge-Like Rhythm game. I just got reminded of my first reaction for the theme announcement on twitter. "That's though... what kind of sandwich is that? ...a disgusting sandwich." [Referring to the picture].
I have a feeling my game might become a disgusting sandwich. Oh well, I'm off to bed!
A Top-Down Rhythm shooter. A fine excuse to practice digital art.
Play it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/spitbeat

I'm in, and I'm going solo as usual. I was disappointed with the theme last time, but I didn't want to ditch the theme as I think it's usually a good source of creativity and practice. Let's hope for an interesting one this time!
I will be using: - Unity - Visual Studio - Photoshop - Paint.net - Audacity + Zoom H1 microphone - Maya (?)
Good luck!
My last ludum dare failed, because I realised halfway through that my plans were too big. I had planned three minigames that worked together, but I would never have enough time. It is better to get something out there, rather than go too large, and then give up halfway through. I do not want to discourage, but especially if you're working alone, try and keep it to something you know you can finish.
There is going to be plenty of work to get through, even for the smallest idea. Good luck!

Vampyre is a game about a vampire on a quest in search for satisfaction.
Check it out here > https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/vampyre
Good luck on making something playable that is. That's the big challenge.
I'll be using Unity, Photoshop/ Paint.net and Audacity. I usually create 2D platformers for ludum dare as I have a decent working 2D controller already working, and 2D platformers are neato :)
PS: Comment on this post and I will make sure to check your entries before anything else when the deadline hits! Good luck!
Sometimes I have too big ideas, sometimes I just don't feel up to create a game.
This time I feel very optimistic! Good feeling.

I will probably make a small game this weekend. I don't feel like stressing too much! Simple, but high quality is my goal.
