this is my first time doing ludum dare and it’s really fun!

i’m making a game about flying a spaceship designed by dieter rams

here’s what it looks like so far

i am so bad at lightmaps

where did my last two days go i dont remember anything

I finished my first ludum dare!

It took me a very long time to find a way to make “minimalism” at least conceptually interesting. I would have much preferred “potato”.

Here’s “Ramspace”, a game about flying a spaceship (or at least trying):

oops, relapsed on graphics

i was intending to take a break from gamedev stuff for the next few months but now i’ve got an oculus plugged into a mba and partial haskell bindings for libovr. this could end very badly for me. normally i do 3d art in a team but this time i’m working alone and doing generated content only. the real demoscene experience

tools! i’m using haskell+sdl+gl+libovr and very little else. i’ll probably pick up ftgl somewhere along the way, but i’m hoping to spend most of my time working in shaders. i’ve got unity/blender ready as a backup incase i break things too much
