978th/1044th, I'm in the 10th lowest percentile.
I'll not complain about the ratings, even if I'm not a beginner in game dev it's my first LD so I may not have grasped the essence of what people like. The only thing that's bothering me is that almost all of the comments are very positive. This could have two meanings: either the rating system is flawed because if you leave a bad comment you're guaranteed to have bad ratings in return, or the people commenting were rating normally but all of the "ghosts" were destroying my game. I don't really care about the answer because the result is the same, my major regret is that I will never know what I screwed up. I can't judge the quality of my game, but I've made something with a beginning, an end, and almost 0 bug, while on the other side some of the submissions crippled with bugs and missing major components are better ranked (again, not judging the true game quality here).
Well, I think I'll juste have a break and take a step back. If someone has some time to lost, feel free to have a look at my (bad) game and drop your honest review.

Congrats to all of the contestants!

My last and only LD was LD43. I was low ranked, around the 5% lowest scores of every contestants. Now I know this is not only about the rank, but I was a bit demotivated especially giving the fact that I'm a hobbyist since 5-6 years. So I gave up for LD44, but now that I've grown up I'm ready to participe again, and I'm planning to be at least better than last time!
I'm using Construct 3, and probably will make some crappy graphics with MSPaint and/or Photoshop.
Wishing good luck to everyone :)
Lots of people already played and rated my game, that's awesome! But the more's the better, so if you have five minutes to kill, give it a shot :) I'll do the same for yours!
