LD newbie reporting in!

Hi!

First LD for me, I’m also pretty new at game development, studying game design right now tho.

I’ll be for sure using Unity, photoshop, BFXR, and Audacity. Maybe I have to try other tools such as tilemap or similar, but I’m not comfortable with them yet.

 

Also… Can anyone tell me if I have to register for this in any other way? Like… is there an inscription post or something, or posting here and uploading the game on monday is enough?

Just making sure you have an account like you do and you are good. If you are solo make sure to also include source code at the end. Also to include pre built libraries you are using so others can start equal

I’ve got a problem :(

Its my first LD, and I was going to submit my game for the compo. I just read that I should have made the music myself, and I just looked for a royalties-free song and embedded it. What should I do? just remove the song? Tweak it with audacity or use the midi version or something? Music-less game is a bit… meh : /

Would love some advice! ty!

Just select the option for the Jam and Not the Compo.

You don’t really have the right, but we’ll not blame you if you keep that music.. I know many people who made the same mistake and ended in the top 100 :)

Just say that you know your mistake and that you’re sorry !

Although I failed with the music and used  a song that was not mine (reading the rules too late, sorry all! :(  Im out of the audio category anyway), I’m pretty proud of my game: Testosterone Man!

I’m gonna leave a full manly gameplay of it, in case someone  is man enough to  watch it and he gets curious (and, again, manly) enough to play it!

Make thos furballs roll!

 

 

 

P.D: The video recording failed a bit, and you can’t see the borders : /

The only important thing you are missing is… well, prolly nothing. Maybe the words “demonic ritual” in the intro, but w/e!
